National Account Manager
Full Time
£24,000 - £26,000 plus bonus OTE £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience


Our client, based on the outskirts of Leeds, has been established 23 years and is the market leader in the manufacture of furniture for the Hospitality Industry. They manufacture and fit out Hotels with bespoke furniture for clients such as Hilton, Sheraton, IHG, Marriott & Hard Rock.

The business continues to go from strength to strength and following significant investment, they are now looking for an enthusiastic Sales Account Manager to join their expanding team.

After significant investment in our operations, we are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated salesperson to help us take advantage of the huge opportunities in the market.

Job Purpose

Your main purpose will be to research your market, identify and win key projects.
You will be given established leads to convert to quotes, but the focus is on winning contracts and building relationships with hotels, interior designers, and large building contractors, who will return to you time and time again.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Prospecting and acquiring new trade business accounts
  • Research organizations and reach out to the appropriate person
  • Planning and presenting reports on accounts progress to management
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • Face to face meetings with prospective and current clients
  • Phone calls to prospects to generate leads

Essential Skills & qualification:

  • An ambitious, determined, self-starter
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and exceed targets
  • Willingness to learn about hotel furniture
  • Previous sales success - business to business or retail
  • UK driving licence & willing to travel throughout the UK
  • Experience in interior design and/or selling furniture is preferred but it is not essential.
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive computer skills, and experience with CRM software
