Curtis has successfully completed a large-scale bedroom refurbishment at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, delivering new furniture across 254 suites and bedrooms at the prominent riverside hotel.

The refurbishment programme required a carefully coordinated approach to upgrade a significant number of guestrooms while ensuring the hotel could continue welcoming guests throughout the works.

Phased Delivery in a Live Hotel Environment

Commissioned by Joanna Knight Interiors, the project was delivered across six planned phases, enabling Hilton Newcastle Gateshead to remain fully operational during the refurbishment. Close collaboration between all parties ensured smooth sequencing, minimal disruption and consistent quality across each phase.

Bespoke Furniture Manufacture

Curtis was responsible for the manufacture and supply of a comprehensive bedroom furniture package, produced at our Leeds factory. Each item was designed and built to meet the durability demands of a busy hotel environment while supporting the refreshed interior scheme.
