Curtis is proud to have played a key role in one of the most exciting hotel launches of 2025 — Hotel Gotham Newcastle. Known for its bold style and distinctive personality, the Gotham Newcastle is opening this month, and Curtis was appointed to manufacture all bespoke bedroom furniture for this landmark project.

Working in partnership with FYR Projects and the design team at Squid Ink, Curtis helped bring the creative vision for the new property to life — blending craftsmanship, precision, and personality in every detail.

From statement headboards and wardrobes to integrated storage and joinery, each piece was carefully produced at our Leeds factory where traditional craftsmanship meets advanced technology.

The result captures the theatrical elegance and signature sophistication that make the Gotham experience so memorable. “This project perfectly reflects what we love about hospitality design,” says Andrew Reynolds, Curtis Managing Director. “It’s about transforming bold ideas into tangible, functional pieces that elevate the guest experience — and doing it with precision and pride.”

Hotel Gotham Newcastle continues the brand’s playful yet luxurious aesthetic, set within a building rich in character and history. As the opening approaches, it promises to become one of the North East’s most distinctive destinations — and another showcase of how collaboration, design ambition, and expert British manufacturing can create something truly exceptional.
