Major Transformation of voco Telford Ironbridge

Curtis has played a key role in the transformation of the former Holiday Inn Telford – Ironbridge into the newly launched voco Telford Ironbridge, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts' fastest-growing premium hotel brand. The rebrand forms part of a £5.5 million refurbishment programme that has modernised the hotel and elevated its guest experience.

Located adjacent to the Telford International Centre and close to the historic Ironbridge Gorge, the hotel has long been a popular destination for both business and leisure travellers. The extensive refurbishment has introduced contemporary interiors and upgraded guest facilities while repositioning the property within IHG's premium voco portfolio.

Working alongside interior designer Jeetan Mistry of Maroli Designs, Curtis was commissioned to deliver bespoke furniture solutions as part of the phased refurbishment programme. The project included the manufacture of furniture for bedrooms within the hotel's new accommodation block, alongside the refurbishment and enhancement of existing guestrooms.

Each piece was designed and manufactured to complement voco's distinctive design language, combining contemporary styling with the durability and functionality required for busy hospitality environments.

The project demonstrates Curtis' continued expertise in delivering bespoke furniture solutions for hotel refurbishments, brand conversions and new-build hospitality developments. By working closely with designers, operators and hotel owners, the company helps create guest-focused interiors that align with both operational requirements and brand standards.
