County Contractors appointed Curtis to deliver the case good package for their fast track 311 bedroom refurbishment at the Crowne Plaza, Birmingham. As with all live refurbishments, a flexible, professional, prompt approach to delivery and problem solving was required by all and Curtis once again met all of these challenges with an excellent service. We would have no hesitation to recommend Curtis on future projects.
The hotel's floor footprint resulted in various room types and configurations to accommodate the available space. To ensure the correct setup and components for each room, a master matrix was developed for Curtis to refer to. Each phase had a one-month timeframe, which Curtis had to manage efficiently to meet handover deadlines. Occasionally, the team had to work at a fast pace to accommodate additional joinery requested by the client. But the installation process was consistent throughout each phase to meet handover.
Sharkey UK worked with Curtis on The Schloss Roxburghe to create the modern, elegant bedrooms in the new Estate House. Curtis manufactured and installed the luxurious fittings and fixtures to an excellent standard. Curtis manufactured 312 rooms of high quality, bespoke bedroom furniture for The Tribe hotel. Communication was speedy and consistent, and the furniture received was of high quality and offered excellent value for money. County worked with Curtis on the recent renovation of 301 bedrooms at the Delta by Marriott in Bristol city centre. The renovation took place over 10 phases whilst the hotel was in operation. From start to finish this refurbishment project was managed by our project management team and the Curtis dedicated project management team who went above and beyond to ensure the project ran smoothly and to schedule. Curtis recently worked with ourselves on a fast paced 274 bedroom refurbishment in the iconic Hilton Park Lane, London. From initial design stage Curtis provided an efficient service, producing drawings in a timely fashion, and nothing was an issue for them…even though this process ate into the Christmas holiday season!
From the delivery of materials, control of quality and the install process, Curtis once again provided an excellent service, leaving minimal defects or issues. They also proved extremely flexible with their approach, thus allowing us to complete the project 2 weeks in advance of the contracted handover which is a great achievement for all involved.
