Ever the quirky trendsetter, W hotel asked Curtis to provide these daring feature walls based on a union jack design for the refurbishment of W London at Leicester Square.
Curtis were engaged by this new client to:
Three different versions of the striking design add drama and texture to 192 guestrooms.
Metallic grey fabric, pale gold velvet, gold leaf fabric and black glass
Weathered gold fabric, black glass, embossed black mirror, polished nickel and sand fabric
Black suede, textured steel, grey velvet, silver glass and midnight leather-style fabric
These style-statement panels are also functional, serving as a TV mount and with integrated sockets for guests to charge their tech. It’s just the level of thoughtful attention to detail that we would expect from the first ever hotel in the UK to embrace DigiValet technology - allowing guests to control the room’s environment from their own device. Temperature, music choices and lighting can all be set to suit the individual – this is brand experience at its best.
