Sharkey UK worked with Curtis on The Schloss Roxburghe to create the modern, elegant bedrooms in the new Estate House. Curtis manufactured and installed the luxurious fittings and fixtures to an excellent standard. The project was expertly managed from start to finish from design work to manufacture, with quick and easy communication which helped the project run smoothly. In developing our design and aesthetic for our first Residents Club in South Kensington, it was essential to find exactly the right furniture partner. The hotel's floor footprint resulted in various room types and configurations to accommodate the available space. To ensure the correct setup and components for each room, a master matrix was developed for Curtis to refer to. Each phase had a one-month timeframe, which Curtis had to manage efficiently to meet handover deadlines. Occasionally, the team had to work at a fast pace to accommodate additional joinery requested by the client. But the installation process was consistent throughout each phase to meet handover.

I have worked with Curtis many times. The projects have spanned small refurbishments, to the full refit of the 312 room Belfry Hotel. They are always supportive and passionate about the projects from the initial conversations, right through to their on-site installation."

Having partnered with Curtis Furniture on previous projects in the UK, we were pleased to appoint them as the bedroom furnishings supplier for Seaton House and Dunluce Lodge. Their meticulous attention to detail throughout the planning and manufacturing processes was greatly appreciated. They executed the design vision of each property flawlessly, while ensuring each remained distinctive.

To avoid the risks of shipping from outside the UK, we wanted to select a British Manufacturer, and Curtis are one of the few with the capacity to supply bespoke case goods for 1,000 rooms over a 12-month project. Our relationship with Curtis goes back over 20 years. We needed to choose an expert partner we could trust to turn around the room refurbishments in a timely manner and with minimal disruption, as the hotel remained fully operational throughout."

Curtis recently worked with ourselves on a fast paced 274 bedroom refurbishment in the iconic Hilton Park Lane, London. From initial design stage Curtis provided an efficient service, producing drawings in a timely fashion, and nothing was an issue for them…even though this process ate into the Christmas holiday season!

From the delivery of materials, control of quality and the install process, Curtis once again provided an excellent service, leaving minimal defects or issues. They also proved extremely flexible with their approach, thus allowing us to complete the project 2 weeks in advance of the contracted handover which is a great achievement for all involved.

We would have no hesitation in using Curtis again for future projects."
