We have worked with Curtis on many hotels and I am pleased to say that, yet again, they performed well on our latest project for Ember Locke in Kensington. They manufactured 120 kitchens for our project and were a great support in engineering and designing kitchens which worked across the many challenging room types in this beautiful period building. The deliveries were communicated by a dedicated project manager and the furniture arrived on time for what was a challenging multi phased programme."
The team at Curtis were integral to the magnificent refurbishment of The Queens Hotel in Leeds. All the bedrooms were transformed plus 17 new added, bringing the room total to 232 including a Presidential Suite. Curtis’s designers helped to achieve the art-deco inspired interiors. Choosing Curtis offered huge advantages from the initial consultations and site visits, right though to delivery and installation."
County worked with Curtis on the recent renovation of 301 bedrooms at the Delta by Marriott in Bristol city centre. The renovation took place over 10 phases whilst the hotel was in operation. From start to finish this refurbishment project was managed by our project management team and the Curtis dedicated project management team who went above and beyond to ensure the project ran smoothly and to schedule. We have worked with Curtis on many projects and will continue to do so in future."
AKP Scotland have been working with Curtis Furniture for the last 10 months on the refurbishment of the Marriott Glasgow Hotel. We have now completed over 200 rooms of this 300 room hotel. As with any large refurbishment in a trading hotel there have been many difficult challenges. Having partnered with Curtis Furniture on previous projects in the UK, we were pleased to appoint them as the bedroom furnishings supplier for Seaton House and Dunluce Lodge. Their meticulous attention to detail throughout the planning and manufacturing processes was greatly appreciated. They executed the design vision of each property flawlessly, while ensuring each remained distinctive.
To avoid the risks of shipping from outside the UK, we wanted to select a British Manufacturer, and Curtis are one of the few with the capacity to supply bespoke case goods for 1,000 rooms over a 12-month project. Our relationship with Curtis goes back over 20 years. We needed to choose an expert partner we could trust to turn around the room refurbishments in a timely manner and with minimal disruption, as the hotel remained fully operational throughout."
Curtis manufactured bespoke furniture for 60 bedrooms at the prestigious St Andrews’ Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa. The hotel remained open throughout its multi-million pound refurbishment which meant that Curtis had to ensure the manufacture process ran smoothly and on time. Curtis’s experience in delivering hotel refurbishment projects enabled us to complete the project on time ahead of the Open."
